Fireworks
and
Lost Animals
Karen receives hundreds of
calls during the July 4th celebration for help
with
lost animals.
Sadly, a large number of animals
never make it back home again.
Don't let this horrible event
strike your family.
Please make proper arrangements
for your animals in a safe boarding facility or
have someone stay at your home with them if you
are going to be out of town.
Even if fireworks are
prohibited in your area, many people disregard the
laws and set off loud fireworks.
Some animals are terrorized by
the loud popping and booming sounds and will break
through fences, doors, windows and other areas to
try to get away from the noises.
Make sure your animals have
proper ID tags with CURRENT information
listed
Have current color pictures of
their face and full body shots.
Contact your veterinarian for
advice on calming medication or try a holistic
remedy like Rescue Remedy, Emergency Rescue
available at
The only way to make sure your
animals will be safe is to stay home with
them.
Please don't put them at risk of
injury or even death.
Keep them somewhere safe for the
4th of July holiday
