Losing a beloved pet is absolutely heartbreaking. Because we share an unconditional bond of love with our pets, we’re often closer to them than many of our family members. When pets die, many people fear they will never see their beloved friends again. I want to reassure you that your pet is with you always, even though you don’t know it. I do.

Over the past 2 decades, I’ve been blessed to have had the blissful experience of being able to communicate with thousands of pets bringing peace to their people. What I have learned from all those experiences is that,

1. You have always been and will always be the most important person in the world to your pet.
2. Your pet is often right by your side because that is where they most want to be.
Those are universal truths that I am privileged to see evidence of on a daily basis.
On one of my recent calls, a woman named Cathy contacted me because her precious cat, Tangerine had just passed away. As soon as I opened her email and saw the beautiful orange tabby’s photo, Tangerine asked me to tell Cathy, “toothpaste.”

Animals transmit their thoughts in pictures and words. Their messages will often be very specific proving to their family that they are right by their side. Oftentimes those little rascals leave me in the dark until I share their thoughts with their family.
As soon as I mentioned ‘toothpaste,’ Cathy burst into happy tears and I heard her exhale a sigh of relief. She told me that just before our session she was on line at the supermarket, buying toothpaste. When she noticed the man ahead of her buying cat food, a wave of grief swept over her as she wondered if she would ever see her precious Tangerine again. Now she knows he’s right by her side always.
